About this Award
Offered to individuals that exhibit innovative thinking within the workplace and may be related to management, operations, animal care, or any aspect of a laboratory animal facility. It could be a single event, item or procedure that is innovative, or that this person continually shows a novel approach to workplace challenges.
To Nominate a Candidate
To nominate a candidate please submit the completed nomination form below along with contact information of at least two references and a statement of nomination regarding the candidate’s eligibility based on the criteria for the award. Nominations will be accepted only from CALAS/ACSAL members in good standing.

Criteria
The selection panel will judge the candidates according to the criteria outlined below:
- The nominees innovations may be related to the creation of better or more efficient processes, services, technologies or ideas that are linked to positive changes in efficiency, productivity, quality and competitiveness in the workplace. The innovations may be related to management, operations, animal care, or any aspect of a laboratory animal facility. It could be a single event, item or procedure that is innovative, or that this person continually shows a novel approach to workplace challenges. Meant to be broad and encompassing, any form of innovative thinking is meant to be lauded and therefore eligible for this award.
