Registered Master Laboratory Animal Technician

This level is for those who have a minimum of 5 years of laboratory animal experience post-RLAT certification. The RMLAT is aimed at the supervisory and management level.  Only complete application packages, including the documents specified below and payment, received by the posted deadline, will be considered for review.

• Résumé
• Letter from employer confirming work experience

Fees: $495.35

1. Written

• Online Exam, Proctored
• 10 long answer questions
• Passing mark is 60%
• Due Date: February 1, 2024

2. Technical/Scientific Paper

• Only candidates that successfully completed the written exam will be able to submit a paper.
• Due Date: April 15, 2024

 3.  Oral/Practical

• Passing mark is 60%
• Due Date: Thursday or Friday prior to the start of Symposium
